[Notes]
Recorded in 1974 near Lawtell, Louisiana, Musique Creole presents old-time Louisiana Creole music played by Joseph "Bébé" and Eraste "Dolan" Carrière. The brothers, with Bébé playing fiddle and Dolan on accordion, honed their wide-ranging repertoire of Creole, Cajun, zydeco, and blues music performing at local dances in southwest Louisiana for many decades.
