Cajun Champs is an introduction to some of the best Cajun music from Arhoolie's extensive Cajun music catalog. The music spans a period from the 1960s to the early 2000s and includes performances by Dewey Balfa, Marc Savoy and Michael Doucet, Wallace "Cheese" Read, Nathan Abshire, D.L. Menard, Austin Pitre, the Hackberry Ramblers, and one of the last recorded performances by the legendary Cajun accordionist Joe Falcon.
