[Notes]
Songs of Sea and Shore is a collection of traditional chanties from the eastern seaboard of North America, many of them with roots in Britain or Ireland. Stuart Frank, who launched the Mystic Seaport and Sea Music Festival, sings and accompanies himself on guitar, concertina, or melodion. Liner notes by Frank provide song lyrics and background on each tune.
