No Speed Limit began as a bluegrass trio with banjoist Steve Barr, bassist Jacob Eller, and singer Amber Collins. In 2001, the trio expanded to a quintet with the addition of guitarist Josh Pickett and mandolin player Ryan Blevins. Anchored by vocalist Amber Collins, this Virginia Blue Ridge Mountain band plays a mix of traditional and original songs, adding just a hint of a contemporary mix to the music. The band performed at the 2007 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Amber Collins has since pursued a solo career.
