On this recording, educator and musician Andrew Gunsberg presents a collection of idea songs for young children. In the introduction, he explains the songs can be used in group lessons to reinforce concepts and to stimulate pretend play during free play. Songs include "Mr. Mud," "Funny Little Seeds," "Bouncing Ball," and "Can You Feel Your Shadow." Liner notes consist of advice for teachers with regard to class activities for each song, followed by song lyrics. This is one of three albums Gunsberg recorded for Folkways.
